Help and Support
We have a number of people who can help and support pupils and families. Here are just some of them …
Class teachers can help with most things to do with school work and behaviour. They can be contacted through Class Dojo. You can contact the class teacher by phone too – please leave a message with the school office and they will ask the teacher to call you back when lessons finish.
Our Family Therapist Sarah Penny is available in school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and works with children and families. She can offer to meet with you face to face or offer support over the phone. Sarah Penny also runs coffee /open mornings where families can share their experiences and support each other – information is sent out on Class Dojo, in the post and is published on our website.
The Attendance Officer Megan Gibbon supports and advises families where school attendance is a concern.
Caryl Peets from Careers Wales comes into school regularly and attends Open Evenings and Annual Reviews for Years 9 and 11. She provides information and advice for pupils and families about post 16 options.
